Charlie Chaplin and the Phonograph Phollies

The Phonograph Phollies is a kit containing two figures, a Comedian (clearly based on Charlie Chaplin) and a Dancer (a ballerina) designed to be set up on a phonograph record in order to dance as the record plays. Directions are on the top of the box, two jointed chromolithograph paper figures and other parts including wires, a weight and a 'driving disc.'

Directions: Complete directions to set up the figures on a phonograph as well as an illustration are printed at the top of the box.

Additional Information: On the box, it notes that the cost for the Comedian and Dancing Girl was $1.00. Apparently a Policeman and Clown kit could also be purchase for $1.00 and a 5 figure Special Combination kit could be purchased for $1.65.
