Entertainment for Your Visitors

Do you take pride in your house? Do you like to have visitors drop in and feel that yours is indeed the kind of a home to enjoy? Some people like to give receptions and parties; other just enjoy having friends call. And surely everybody ought to have visitors as often as possible. Now it does not take fine furniture and elegant suppers to make your house a magnet for friends. Be it high or humble, your home will always be praised and loved by friends if there is cheer and entertainment during the visit.

Excerpt from Edison dealer's catalog, 1918, depicting the Edison Amberola as the magnet to always delight callers.

The AMERBOLA 30 initially sold for $30.00. As with several other Edison products, the AMBEROLAS reflected their dollar prices in their model numbers, but inflation during the Great War soon changed that and their price subsequently rose several times.
