Croquet - Home Court Advantage

The croquet court that was envisioned by Mom for an area next to their Barr family house at River Ranch in the 1930's never happened.

But after marriage and a move to the suburbs of Lincoln, Nebraska her own backyard lawn became home court for her croquet dreams. From 1960 to 2001 in every season of the year croquet became a tradition of competitive fun, as expected as dessert after a family gathering for a holiday or birthday.
