Edison Home - Model A

The Edison Home Phonograph Model A is pictured below in this 1904 magazine advertisement. The HOME was housed in the 'New Style' cabinet early in 1904, which today is known as the 'Long-Case HOME.' The cabinet was finished in green oak and the banner transfer displayed on its front. The earliest of the series used the red lettered banner of the 'Suitcase' HOME. During the Summer of 1906 the banner decal changed to the single word "Edison" decal on the front of the case.
