PATHÉ IS SUPREME

By Doug Boilesen 2023

In 1914 The Victor Talking Machine Co. started advertising their Victrolas and "World's Greatest Artists" as supreme using their "Victor Supremacy" advertising headlines.

Pathé featured a "Supreme" ad campaign in 1920 and as will be seen in the following examples, besides using the word 'supreme' their illustrations tower up as pinnacles pointing to the words "Pathé is Supreme."
